Roderick Hill is ICA’s Contracts Manager. He has over 20 years of experience as a contracting professional in the areas of contract management, contract administration and proposal management with the federal government as well as private industry. Roderick has served as a Contracting Officer with unlimited signature authority for the Department of the Navy, Department of the Army, Joint Munitions Command, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In addition, owned a consulting business that provided contract management and capture management services to international companies. Throughout his career, he has a proven record of success as a contracting professional in both the federal and private space.
Before retiring from the Department of Defense at the GS-15 level and joining ICA in the private sector, Roderick worked in several key roles such as Deputy Director of Contracting and Civilian Deputy to the Commander for the 408th Contracting Support Brigade, Chief of Contracting for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Support of Operation Iraqi Freedom where he managed and oversaw over 1400 contracts, Administrative Contracting Officer for the Joint Munitions Command, and Supervisory Contracting Officer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Forward Engineer Support Team-Advanced a mobile and rapid response team that deployed with U.S. Army ground soldiers to solve technical engineering problems and contracting/procurement issues during worldwide disasters and wartime missions.
Roderick is the recipient of numerous contracting relating honors, most notably three (3) Superior Civilian Service Awards/Medals, Commanding General Award for Excellence, the Global War on Terrorism Award and membership into the Army Acquisition Corps.
Roderick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Education from Valdosta State University and obtained DAWIA Level III Certification as a Contracting Professional from the Defense Acquistion University.
